Honey New Zealand, established in 1909 is one of the oldest honey companies in New Zealand and specialises in UMF and Active manuka honey collected by bees from the manuka bush, a New Zealand plant known for its medicinal properties.
The active ingredients and anti-oxidant benefits can be used to support general wellbeing, optimum oral health and immunity and also has anti-bacterial properties and acts as a digestive aid.
Active 5+ can be used as a maintenance honey, but for therapeutic benefits, Honey New Zealand recommends their UMF honeys with a UMF of 10 or above.
