Interview with Charlotte Vohtz - Managing Director/Founder of Green People
When was the Green People brand developed and by who?
Green People was found in 1997 by Charlotte Vohtz.
What was/is the inspiration behind the brand?
My 2 year old daughter Sandra was definitley the inspiration as she suffered with eczema and allergies.
What are your personal favourite products and why?
Gentle Tone & Anti Ageing Facial Oil – as I get older my skin needs more hydration and firming and the combination of these two products with anti wrinkle properties gives wonderful skin feel and tone.
What are your customers favourite products and why?
Gentle Cleanse, Vita Min Fix, Baby Nappy Balm, deodorants and many more. They love them because they are gentle on the skin but are also very effective.
What has been the proudest moment building the brand?
The first customer show back in 1998 where a happy customer and her family came to the stand and said it was the first time they could use a range without coming out in a horrible rash.
What is the future for Green People?
We celebrate 15 years during 2012 and will be introducing new packaging, superb new formulations with new ingredients and new products.
